Schedule a Campus Visit

Washington County Community College offers learning opportunities to help you reach your educational goals! We are excited that you have expressed interest in WCCC for your continued educational journey. We understand that the admissions process can be confusing, so we are here to help. Whether you have questions about which program is right for you, the application process, or admissions requirements, our staff are here to assist you with every step in the process.  At WCCC, we want to see you complete your goal. Let us help you get a great start on your future!

A scheduled campus visit is the most useful, meaningful thing you can do to help determine if attending one of our programs of study is a good “fit” with your interests, abilities, and goals. In seeing firsthand what we do in our classrooms, shops, and labs, and by visiting with our students and instructors, you will get a feel for how much you will or won’t like attending a program of study.   The Admissions Office at WCCC is committed to assisting prospective students and is now offering both in-person and virtual campus visits.

  • In light of the disruption caused by COVID-19, the Maine Community College System has adopted a test optional status (Accuplacer/SAT/ACT) for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years. During this time, the Maine Community College System (MCCS) will use multiple measures which will include transcripts, college-level experience, and available test scores to make placement decisions.  Additional placement assessments will be administered by the college after admission only if necessary. Individual academic programs of study may, however, have specific entrance requirements; contact the college admissions office and/or website for specific program entrance requirements.
