Applying to WCCC
Washington County Community College maintains a rolling admissions policy,
allowing applicants to apply and be considered for acceptance throughout the year. However,
due to competition for acceptance into certain programs and the strict enrollment capacity
established for each, early application is encouraged. Because program starting dates are
staggered throughout the year, the applicant should check the WCCC academic calendar to find
out when a particular program is scheduled to begin. All programs are offered to women and
men. Students are encouraged to enroll in programs considered to be non-traditional for
their gender. Qualified disabled students are also encouraged to apply, and we provide the
appropriate accommodations and support services to eligible students. A high school diploma
or equivalent is required for admission to all programs.
A WCCC application
form must be completed and submitted to the
admission office, accompanied by a non-refundable
$20 application fee made payable to WCCC. A complete
high school transcript for all years attended
must be submitted to the admission office. Current
high school seniors must include grades for the
ranking periods completed at the time of their
application. A final transcript, which indicates
the date of graduation, with final grades, must
be submitted as soon as it is available.
