Downeast Adventure Race

Race course

The course will start and end at the Washington County Community College campus in Calais, Maine. Download course map (2150 k).You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this file. Event distances are as follows:

Mtn. Biking 12.3 miles
Whitewater Canoeing 3.6 miles
Running 2.3 miles
Sea Kayaking 2.9 miles
Total 21.1 miles

The course takes advantage of the unique terrain in Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge and the beautiful and historic St Croix River and estuary.
