RACE INFO
The
Downeast Adventure Race is an entry level multi-sport event that consists
of mountain biking, white water canoeing, sea kayaking, running, and team
challenges.
This 21 mile race is designed for 1st time racers and experienced racers
alike.

Saturday
April 29th, 2007. Starting at 10:00 am. Registration must be received
by 5 pm, Friday, April 21. Teams must report to the race start
by 9:00 am on race day. |

Start
and finish at Washington County Community College Campus. WCCC is
located in Calais, Maine and overlooks the historic and scenic St.
Croix River which forms the International Border between the US
and Canada. |

Whitewater Canoeing 3.6 miles
Running 2.3 miles
Sea Kayaking 2.9 miles
The
course takes advantage of the unique terrain in Moosehorn National
Wildlife Refuge and the beautiful and historic St Croix River

$50
per team. Teams are of 3 racers plus a support person |

Proceeds will go to help fund the WCCC Outdoor Adventure Center. |
