Engine Specialist 
The Engine Specialist certificate program prepares
students for employment in the engine servicing
industry. Instruction covers diesel and gasoline
engine theory and the techniques of disassembly
and troubleshooting. Technicians use shop manuals,
reference charts, diagnostic instruments and special
tools to identify equipment malfunctions. Career
preparation requires a solid technical background
in the areas of overhaul, electrical and electronic
systems, and fuel systems.
