Residential & Commercial Electricity Instructor
Washington County Community College is looking to hire an instructor to teach Residential & Commercial Electricity.
This position will instruct and continue to develop the College’s Residential & Commercial Electricity program. Instruction focuses on electrical theory and the techniques of the trade. Emphasis is placed on teaching the National Electrical Code in all wiring installations. Instructors are responsible for classroom teaching and some off-site construction projects and related teaching duties. Position is on a day/evening schedule.
Minimum Qualifications: Diploma/Associate degree in Residential & Commercial Electricity or Electrical Technology, master’s electrician’s license, strong understanding of the National Electrical Code and up to 4 years of work experience. Other credentials and significance experience maybe considered.
Compensation: $52,709.80 base salary with extended contract (10½ month position) beginning August 18, 2014.
