Advantage U

Who do I talk with at WCCC if I am thinking about transferring?

WCCC's Transfer Counselor is located in the TRiO Department. Transfer counseling services are available to all WCCC students.  For more information, visit us Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm.

I would like to visit a particular college campus but have a difficult time arranging for travel, is there an opportunity to participate in on campus visits?

Absolutely!  Various campus visits are conducted each year.  Arrangements are made through the transfer office in TRiO. Or check out Maine etours for a virtual campus tour of your campus of choice.

Is there a guaranteed admissions program at WCCC?

Advantange U is the Maine Community College and the University of Maine System partnership.  This program streamlines the transfer process from WCCC to the University of Maine campus of your choice.  Criteria for the program are as follows:  Students must be matriculated in WCCC's Liberal Studies Program, students need to maintain a 2.5 GPA, upon successful completion of the Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies, you would transfer with academic advanced standing.
