Downeast Adventure Race

Who: Put on by the Outdoor Adventure Center at Washington County Community College

What: The Downeast Adventure Race is a four part race that involves 12.3 Milles of Mtn. Biking, 3.6 Miles of Whitewater Canoeing, 2.3 Miles of Running, and 2.9 Miles of Sea Kayaking. This is an event for all skill and experience levels and can be done as an individual, a relay, as a team or, new this year, as a  relay team of 2 where 1 member does the land portion of the race and the second member does the water portion of the race. The race also includes navigation and team challenges.

When: The 10th Annual Downeast Adventure Race will take place on Saturday, September 20th 2014 at 9:00AM.

Where:  The race will start out front of Washington County Community College at 9:00AM and will finish out front of WCCC.

Why: Proceeds from the Adventure Race will benefit the Adventure Recreation and Tourism Program at Washington County Community College.

 

Registration forms can be found on the Outdoor Adventure Center section of the WCCC website or on our Facebook Page.

Registration Deadlines: Early Bird Registration end August 29th and Final Registration is September 18th.  Registration limited to first 100 participants.

Cost: Individual – Early- $30, Regular- $40

Relay – Early- $80, Regular - $100

Team – Early - $80, Regular - $100
