WCCC has a lot to offer outside of the classroom. The campus is a hub of activity with scheduled events throughout the academic year as well as a supportive and active staff.
WCCC offers town-house style apartment living on campus. These attractive, three-bedroom fully furnished apartments may be shared by up to five students. In addition to the bedrooms, each apartment includes a living room, kitchen and bathroom. A large, comfortable community lounge has a wide screen television, fireplace, pool tables, a fitness room, and a coin operated laundry facility which is available for students.
All on-campus residence hall students are required to purchase a meal plan. The Riverview Dining Hall serves one evening meal per day Monday through Thursday; breakfast and lunch are served on Friday. Sandwiches, soups, salads, bottled and fountain drinks and tea/coffee are also available in the Riverview Dining Hall snack-bar. Unused meals purchased as part of a meal plan are forfeited if not used in the semester in which they were purchased.
The College’s Riverview Dining Hall is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a variety of healthy and delicious meals. Dining Dollars are available for purchase through the Business Office. In addition to the dining hall, each apartment is equipped with a full kitchen where students may prepare their own meals.
The student senate is a student-elected and student-run organization with representatives from all programs of study. The student senate plans cookouts, fundraisers, awards, and other student activities. Students may choose to participate in many activities including, hiking, sailing, fishing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, intramural sports, musical performances and Skills USA.
