These trips are perfect for kayakers of all experience levels. Come see some of Downeast Maine's most beautiful waterways. Tours guided by Registered Maine Sea Kayak Guides, land trust stewards and/or National Park staff. No experience necessary. All equipment provided.

Come see some of Downeast Maine's most beautiful hiking trails. This weekly hike series will take you to four different trails throughout Washington County reintroducing you to our greatest asset, our natural resources! Hike difficulties range from easy to moderate and vary in length. Sign up for one or all four.
Cost: $10/Individual Trip or $35/All Four
Come challenge yourself to a little outdoor climbing. Use the skills you’ve been working on all winter and spring indoors to climb some of Maine's most beautiful rock faces. The trips are guided by professionals with Acadia Mountain Guides and no experience or equipment is necessary.

Join us as we raft down one of Maine's most popular whitewater river. This trip down the Kennebec River requires no experience and is a perfect trip for the first time rafter. On this 12 mile trip you will experience rapids ranging from class 1-4. Trip includes transportation, overnight stay in tent site and full day of rafting.

Sure to be one of our fastest filling trips, sign up for this one early. On this hike we will tackle Maine’s largest peak. One of Maine’s hidden beauties, Katahdin is located in Baxter State Park in North Central Maine. It ‘s highest peak stands at 5,268 ft and we will be hiking all the way to the top. This is a moderately difficult hike and individuals should be in relatively good health before attempting this hike. We will be holding informational and planning sessions leading up to the trip to ensure everyone is properly prepared for the challenge that is Katahdin.

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
This course will give you all the tools you need to become a professional geocacher. We will teach you how to use the handheld GPS system, lead you on a cache, help you create your own cache, and finally send you on an adventure of caches where each one provides clues to find the next one. We only have 6 available GPS units ,so only first 6 families to sign up are guaranteed use of one during the class.
Start Date: June 20
This joint program is being offered in conjunction with Calais Parks and Recreation Department and the Moosehorn Wildlife Refuge. Bring your tent and sleeping bags and we’ll supply the rest. If you don’t have a tent, we can provide you with one. Activities will include a bonfire, night hike, nature identification bingo, geocaching and more.

Cost: $10 per Family
This campout is for those interested in taking their adventure to the next level. We will be packing up our canoes and heading out for a day of canoeing. We will pick out a campsite during our paddle and stop and set up camp around lunch time. Then we will head back out later on for a night paddle before returning for some good old fashion camp fire stories and smores. The next morning we will pack up and paddle back out. This event is being put on in conjuction with the Downeast Lakes Land Trust and will include several informational session such as identification and land history. Dinner is included but participants will need to pack lunch for the first day. Space is limited to 6 ppl (3 boats)

Come out for our second disc golf league. This league is set up to be an 8 week regular season leading up to a match play playoff at the end of the season. Compete against the field each week to get the best score and gain points in the standings before the playoffs. The league uses a handicap so everyone is on a level playing field. Whether you’ve played your entire life or this is your first time you can play in this league.
