TRIO Student Support Services
WCCC’s TRIO Student Support Services program focuses on assisting students
to thrive academically and to graduate and transfer to a four-year college. Services are offered
free and include individual and group tutoring, academic advising, career planning, visits to four
year colleges, enrichment workshops, peer mentoring and study skills development. Scholarships
are available to assist program participants in meeting financial needs.
The WCCC Trio Student Support
Services Program (Visit
TRIO now!) is here to help students stay in
school, succeed, graduate, and even transfer to
four-year college programs. Students who join
Trio can:
- Receive individual or small group tutoring;
- Join study groups;
- Get academic counseling;
- Get help transferring to a four-year college;
- Enjoy cultural trips and college visits;
- Benefit from success seminars and study skills workshops.
A college education, like all learning,
should be a challenging and rewarding experience.
