March 16, 2021

Washington County Community College (WCCC) is pleased to welcome the newest member of the administrative team, Tyler Stoldt.  Stoldt is a passionate advocate for student success and has relocated with his family from Kansas after serving community and technical college students there for several years.

Through his personal and professional experiences, Stoldt holds a deep understanding of the challenges faced by community college students and is passionate about removing barriers that hinder student success.  Stoldt himself faced barriers as the first in his family to attend college.  Because of the support he received during his time attending community college, he was able to continue and pursue advanced degrees.  This is what fuels his passion to serve community college students through his work as an administrator.

Stoldt holds an Associate of Science from Neosho County Community College, a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University, a M.S.E. in Higher Education Student Affairs from Fort Hays State University and is currently working to complete an Ed. D. from Kansas State University in Adult Learning & Community College Leadership.  Tyler holds professional certifications in CLERY Compliance, Security/FEMA Training- Managing Critical Incidents at Institutions of Higher Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership of Title IX.  He has held positions of progressive responsibility and leadership at Independence Community College, Neosho County Community College, Highland Community College, and Manhattan Area Technical College in Kansas. In addition, he has experience in academic advising, curriculum development, campus safety, program assessment, student activities, leadership development, public relations, advertising and marketing, student conduct, student accommodations, residence life, budget management, and strategic planning.

Stoldt is excited for the opportunity to help WCCC students discover choices and create success through his position as Dean of Enrollment Management and Student Services.  Dean Stoldt and the entire enrollment management and student services team are available to answer any questions that prospective students or community members may have about WCCC, we are here to help.
