WCCC offers a wide-variety of training options to increase skill levels and employability for various in-demand occupations and works with a large network of business partners to ensure programming is relevant and responsive to the ever-changing needs of the workforce. Courses are offered online, in person, and in combination and are offered at convenient times and locations to ensure learners are able to succeed. Washington County Community College Division of Workforce and Professional Development offers customized training options for businesses throughout the region. Our staff will provide individualized consultations with you and your team to determine your needs and recommend solutions tailored to your organization’s specific workforce challenges.
Together, we can design customized programs to enhance the occupational and workplace skills of your employees. We have created and provided customized training on a variety of topics including production technology, workplace safety, welding, computer skills, phlebotomy, and many others. Our highly trained instructors and subject matter experts can deliver endless options. Training can be offered in-person, online, or through a hybrid model and can be held at your worksite, on campus, or some other convenient location.
WCCC works with various partners throughout the region and state to provide you with incredible training options that allow your employees to gain valuable skills and stackable, nationally recognized credentials. Many partners can assist with the cost of training. Our own Maine Quality Centers can provide funding to help cover the cost of training for businesses or industry groups. No and low cost training options are available to companies who plan on expanding and hiring new employees or need to training current workers.
