Woods and Water Program -brought to you by WCCC OAC and Calais Parks and Rec Department
6 week program designed to connect participants ages 10+ up to the natural world through traditional Maine guide-like experiences. The second of a four session program is based in a spring environment consisting of three Saturday outings; exploring our local fishing habitat, Grand Lake Stream. Weekly sessions will take place at the Calais Rec Center on Thursday nights from 4:00-5:00pm covering topics we will then use during our outings. : Navigation, Fly Fishing, Trolling, Fish ID, Animal Tracking, Survival tactics and many others.
Perfect for all abilities and any experience level.
Registered Maine Guides in Fishing, Hunting, and Recreation will be present for each session. Local presenters will talk to the class about real life experiences and stories as a guide.
Cost: $80 for entire session
