Woods and Water Program -brought to you by WCCC OAC and Calais Parks and Rec Department
7 week program designed to connect participants ages 10+ up to the natural world through traditional Maine guide-like experiences. The first of a four session program is based in a winter environment consisting of two Saturday outings; ice fishing and animal tracking at the Moosehorn Wildlife Refuge. Weekly sessions will take place at the Calais Rec Center on Wednesday nights from 3:30-4:30pm covering topics we will then use during our outings. : Navigation, Winter Survival, Ice Fishing, Animal Tracking, and many others.
Perfect for all abilities and any experience level.
Registered Maine Guides in Fishing, Hunting, and Recreation will be present for each session. Local presenters will talk to the class about real life experiences and stories.
Cost: $80 for entire session
